Meet The Matchmaker Team

Christopher Diehl recently joined Matchmaker's Sales Department in June 2006, an area in which he has over 22 years of experience, as well as in advertising, promotions and marketing management. He is currently working toward his Certified Transportation Brokers designation, and will have it completed in December 2006.  

Paul Maultsby is in Flatbed Sales and hosts a Master's in Health Administration as well as a BA in Theater Arts. He has also worked in communications with radio and TV. Before joining the Matchmaker Team, he served 20 years in the Coast Guard, spent 6 years as a recruiter.

Mary Nicholas is an Operations Team Leader. She started with Matchmaker in July 1999, and is a native of Wilmington, NC. She graduated Cape Fear Community College's Dale Carnegie Course and is also a Certified Transportation Broker.

Eric Robb, Shipper Salesperson, earned a BS in Management from Western Illinois University in 2004.  He became a Certified Transportation Broker in 2005 after successfully completing the online course offered by the Transportation Intermediaries Association.  Eric also completed the Partnership Selling in the Supply Chain course offered by the Transportation Intermediaries Association in 2005. 

Troy L Shinn handles Business Development.  Originally from Charleston, SC, she attended Anderson College. Troy brings with her a total of 30 years combined experience in the International and Domestic transportation industries in various positions, including operations, sales, freight forwarding, imports, exports, and traffic management.   

Bob Skane is Matchmaker's Vice President and Co-Owner of the company. He earned a BA in Economics from Providence College in 1986 and an MBA from University of North Carolina Wilmington in 1995. In 2001, he became a Certified Transportation Broker by successfully completing the online courses offered by the Transportation Intermediaries Association.

Jim Skane, Jr. is President and Co-Owner of Matchmaker. He earned an ABA in Business from Sacred Heart University and has pursued studies for a BA in Psychology at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. Jim most enjoys the sales responsibilities of his position, travel, and getting to know new clients.
